I started out probably exactly where you are right now.
I was working as a full-time medical device sales rep. Forcing myself to wake up at 5am everyday just to have enough time to drink coffee, exercise, walk my dog… I was exhausted, unfulfilled and always counting down the hours to the weekend.
Until the pandemic happened and I got a taste of what “working from home” might be like.
I thought I had made it. It is well-known that medical device reps make good money, right? Well, after 3 years of living that “dream” I realized I was working my life away to pad the pockets of a major corporation and still living Monday-Friday in a blur, counting down until Saturday.
And then, when the most horrible historical event of my lifetime happened, I had my first panic attack because I had to sit in my thoughts for the first time ever.
I’ve always had big dreams of “being someone” and making impact on this world somehow. I never imagined working for myself would be the path to freedom for me, but my panic attack (which stemmed from feeling like I didn’t know who I was) lit a fire under me.
After I experienced what felt like the ultimate depression, I made a promise to myself that I would figure out what “fulfills” me and never stop until I get there. So, I joined a team in the Network Marketing space. I thought “I love fitness, I love health and wellness, this should be fun for me.” I poured my heart and soul into this opportunity, filled up my days and nights with working it and prayed it would work for me.
I had no clue what I was doing, but I learned as I went and actually brought in a good chunk of income during the time. But, as time went on, I realized I was back in the same boat. I was working for someone else and I also had to wake up at the beginning of each month and “hit quota” (they don’t call it that, but that’s what it is).
I was ready to quit a “side hustle” all together. I was left feeling burnt out, discouraged and disheartened.
From all of this experience, I learned how to work a business online – from anywhere. I learned how to start selling using my social media and I took another shot, but at something slightly different. I created my OWN digital product.
With little time and little extra money, I learned how to generate income quickly.
