I am here to tell you that NOW IS THE TIME you should do something for YOU. Something that strengthens the relationship you have with yourself. 

Let this be your sign… and I am talking beyond “self-care” and totally into making deposits for yourself. We love a good bubble bath and we love a massage (get yourself a monthly subscription!)... BUT this is more of the stuff that most people just don't do to fall in love with themselves. This is more of the stuff that lasts LONGER than just a 90 minute massage or escape.


4 ways to love yourself more:

  1. Be intentional with your words this weekend: meaning, monitor the amount of times you speak negatively about someone and instead, say something nice. Secondly, monitor the amount of times you say “Ah I am just so busy” or “Ugh I am exhausted” and instead, take a deep breath, inhale gratitude for something in the moment, and carry on.
  2. Call yourself out: who are you when nobody is watching? When you’re working out - could you have gone a little bit harder? Could you have maybe resisted the urge to press snooze? Could you have walked your dog 10 mins longer? Be your own accountability partner.
  3. SELF COMPASSION: here she is! This is not to be confused with what we see on social media as “self-care” like, going to get a pedicure or a massage or a facial… although, those things are hella amazing lol and you should def do those too! But I am talking, give yourself a pat on the back, look in the mirror and fight the need to critique every angle and every curve. BE YOU, and be you PROUDLY.
  4. Solitude: spend time by yourself. Without your phone too! What would you do if you had to be alone for an hour and you couldn’t use your phone and you couldn’t watch TV… 
OKAY! Now, enjoy your time with yourself and make the most of it so that you can absolutely SLAY the coming days!
