I recently posted a tiktok and reel on money. The content I shared was suggesting that women feel more PROUD to talk and think about money versus feeling shameful.

I started to share more about revenue and talk more about money and I personally have a teeny bit of “I should tread lightly so I don’t lead anyone to think that all I care about is money” and you know what that really is?! IT’S ME QUESTIONING MYSELF, “IS MONEY ALL THAT I CARE ABOUT?” it has nothing to do with what anyone else thinks and more to do with my own damn beliefs.

I am sick and tired of the stigma around money. I am sick of the potential shame that I place on myself for wanting more.

The 4 simple steps to healing your relationship with money:

STEP ONE

Manifest. Normalize MONEY being a recurring thought that doesn’t take over your mind or your actions. Here is my advice (something I personally do!), write yourself a check. I have a check on my monitor, at the desk I sit daily, with $100k written out to MYSELF. And I see it every single day. Instead of feeling like I need to RUSH to this amount, I see it as a reminder of “It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when”. And it allows me to trust the process and stay true to the path that I am on.

STEP TWO

Visualize. Imagine money is a human being instead of a currency. How would you treat it then? Would you hide it? Would you open up and share about your love for it? Would you foster the relationship you have with it? Everytime you start to feel shame around money - transfer your thought to THIS ➡️ what if money were a human?

STEP THREE

Terminate Comparison at all costs. This one is actually huge and arguably one of the most important methods of healing your money relationship. From the people you surround yourself with, to the profiles you follow on social… are you using your time to get inspired or are you using your time to feel “less-than”? Also, you simply cannot compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. Be truthful with yourself and instead of feeling “envy” dedicate yourself to adopting the perspective of “if she can, so can I”

STEP FOUR

Unsubscribe from overnight riches. Listen, I used to search ALL.THE.TIME. for the quickest way to get more money… and after many failed attempts, I learned that “quick riches” does NOT exist. So, stop allowing yourself to be a victim of the bait and switch and start thinking more long-term. Ask yourself - Is what you are doing RIGHT NOW going to set you up to earn more cash flow in the next 5-10 years? THAT is the question. It’s NOT “this looks easy and I can probably be a millionaire by next week”.

Let those SINK IN! You may even print out the following to remind yourself (or scribble it somewhere);
  1. Manifest
  2. Visualize
  3. Terminate Comparison
  4. Unsubscribe from overnight riches
I hope this helped you and INSPIRED you!
