Don't Give Up Until You've Done These 5 Things

Before we dive in... you clicked on this page for a reason. You are feeling [or are close to feeling] like giving up and you are desperate for some advice as why not to. I cannot wait to share with you the 5 things to do when you feel like giving up.

I get it. Yearning for success is difficult at times. You want the desired outcome, the goal, so badly! First, I am proud of you for even getting there. For wanting to succeed. That is brave! And without getting too "woo-woo" on you... there is a reason you want to succeed and it's because YOU CAN.

Now, before I can give you the 5 reasons. You have to answer ONE question; what does success look like to you? Nobody has to know the answer, so don't feel ashamed. But you might be surprised by your answer once you dig deep enough.

Close your eyes, wait don't close your eyes because you need to read... take a deep breath instead... and imagine if you had everything you wanted BY TOMORROW, what would your morning look like? 

What would your midday look like? How would your evening be? I want you to visualize it, smell it, hear it, taste it, feel it.


If you were to ask me this question a year ago - I would have told you that success to me is being a millionaire, being healthy, having a successful business and happy marriage. I still desire all of those things. But I have had enough practice to realize what true success is to me - it's a feeling. Success to me is waking up EXCITED to live and feeling fulfilled by my day to day.

If you don't CLEARY define what success is to you then you will just continue to want more and more and more and end up in a vicious cycle of never-ending disappointment.

Success is not to be confused with "goals" and I think we often times intertwine them. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. A goal would be: I am going to be a millionaire by the year 2025. That is NOT success. If I used that as success AND a goal, then sheesh... what would I do in 2025 when I got there? Immediately feel unsuccessful and needing more. Do you catch my drift???

Now that we have that out of the way...

The 5 MINDSET strategies to prevent you from giving it all up:

  1. Resilience. This is an acquired trait. It’s not something that you have or don’t have, it must be developed. The next time you feel you are in a “setback” I want you to CONSCIOUSLY remind yourself that the power is in the comeback. Period.
  2. Vision. In times of uncertainty or doubt, take yourself to a corner of the room, remove distractions and take a deep breath. ENVISION your end-goal. Smell it, hear it, feel it… don’t lose focus on THAT.
  3. Small Wins. This is why I LOVE tracking KPIs because I love to take time to celebrate the small stuff. I know a lot of us in the online business space focus on followers or sales. Try this; instead of “followers” how many DMs did you get? Instead of sales - how many people have opted in on your lead magnet?
  4. Surroundings. Ooooooooof, IDK how to say this lightly but if you are constantly around people that don’t LIFT you up or LIGHT you up, then ya need a new circle. Put yourself in rooms with people that make you feel like you gotta be doing more, or who bring something to the table to help you IMPROVE. (But remember, you first have to BE that person before you find others like that)
  5. Believe. The second someone can bottle up belief and sell it - they will own the world lol. Sometimes it can feel like belief is shoved down so deep and closed off in a cage but you have to break through and grasp it. Hold it TIGHT and never let it go.
I challenge you to focus on ONE for the next month. I also challenge you to send this to someone you love that either 1) needs to read it or 2) is going to hold you accountable.
