Instagram Stories Sequence
CONTEXT
You are offering/ inviting into a program or experience.

THE IDEA
There are many elements to this story sequence that MATTER.
Both visually and in the messaging.
For this to HIT, you must KNOW who you want in this space; be as specific as possible.

THE AESTHETIC
The photo behind the text is a "branded" photo, it matches the graphic of the offer.
Notice how I played with the dark shade over some of the photos & removed it on others, this adds texture.
I always try to not fill the entire screen with words to make it easily digestible (just get to the point & don't be afraid to use a new slide if it's too wordy).
When inserting a testimonial, use raw snapshots over just stating what they said, it's more believable.
The testimonials do not have to come directly from the offer, they can be relational to the desired result (from private clients, etc.).

CONTEXT
This reel is designed to peel back a deeper layer of your brand & expose the mission.

Your niche might appear to be about helping someone lose weight, heal from trauma, grow on Instagram, find love, or run a marathon...
but what’s the deeper human truth behind the transformation you guide people through?

Think beyond the *tangible* result.

This is not about the what, it’s about the how it feels, the why it matters, and the growth required to get there.

This is your opportunity to bring emotional resonance into your content and remind your audience of the heartbeat behind your mission.

THE IDEA
The scroll-stopping hook is:
“Maturing is realizing…”

Then finish the sentence with a deeper truth that ties back to your mission.

Examples:
  • Fitness coach: “Maturing is realizing it’s not about losing the weight, it’s about releasing the shame you’ve been carrying about not fitting into your old jeans anymore.”
  • Relationship coach: “Maturing is realizing that finding love begins with learning how to receive it.”
  • Content coach: “Maturing is realizing your polished content is powerful... but your raw, in-process moments are what make people trust you.”
  • Trauma healer: “Maturing is realizing healing isn’t a destination... it’s a daily decision to choose yourself.”
  • Business mentor: “Maturing is realizing your income doesn’t define you, but your integrity while building it does.”
This is not a moment to list your expertise.
This is a moment to reveal the soul of your brand.

THE AESTHETIC
The Trending Audio is used in the example - but if you are creating this at a later date, any audio that *gets them in the feels* is perfect.

You want to start the reel with a low moment video and at the break of the song, where it goes into more uplifting, you will use 1.5s clips consecutively.

The MAJOR KEY ALERT is to use clips that showcase all different and opposing energies / emotions: some silly, some sad, some serious/ fierce, some girly, some masculine... whatever your brand represents, show the full picture.

Let your caption support the reel with more depth... tell us how YOUUUUUU learned this truth.

CONTEXT
This carousel is going to contradict what people *think* you are here to do.

You are going to tell the story of why you are here to serve in your given niche/ industry and what the deeper meaning is to you.

THE IDEA
Slide 1:
My soul's work is not to [insert the overall umbrella topic of what you do]
or
I am not deeply called to [insert the overall umbrella topic of what you do]

Slide 2:
My soul's work has nothing to do with [the overall action that they take to get to the desired goal/ result]
Nope.
It has everything to do with [list 2-3 things that are deeper than the surface in the work you provide]

Slide 3:
The most successful [insert how they identify] don't just [insert surface-level behavior/ habit]
They [insert the one thing that if they unlocked, would change it all - keep it simple]

Slide 4:
You've been led to believe that you need [list off 3-5 surface level items] to get [insert desire]

Slide 5:
Those things may help you... but they won't [deepest, scariest most dramatic desire]

Slide 6: 
[List off 3-4 contradictory statements - see example]

Slide 7:

THE AESTHETIC
Keep it simple and stick with the same photo across the entire slideshow.
You do NOT need a photoshoot photo here... this is a personal post, so humanize it with a casual photo of YOU.
Create this INSIDE of Instagram OR if you do create inside of Canva, stay "on-brand" with your IG font & keep the slides minimal. It shouldn't feel like it's "canva-created".
